Kabul, Sep 10 (NationPress) In a tragic incident, three motorbikes collided in the Badghis province of western Afghanistan, resulting in one death at the scene and injuring five others, as reported by provincial police spokesman Sediqullah Sediqi on Wednesday.
This fatal accident occurred in the provincial capital Qala-e-Naw on Tuesday evening, attributed to the recklessness of the motorists. All five injured individuals, some in critical condition, have been transported to a nearby hospital, according to Xinhua News Agency.
Earlier in the week, a total of 17 individuals lost their lives and two more were injured in separate incidents in the northern Badakhshan and eastern Ghazni provinces on Monday.
On Tuesday, a local police officer reported that 11 travelers were killed and one injured when their vehicle fell into a ravine in the Darayem district of northern Afghanistan’s Badakhshan province.
This horrific incident, which occurred on Monday afternoon, was due to the negligence of the driver, resulting in the immediate death of 11 passengers, including seven members of one family, as confirmed by district police chief Sayed Mir Khangar.
