Kabul, July 31 (NationPress) Tragically, one individual lost their life and 14 others sustained injuries when their vehicle veered off the road and flipped over in the central region of Afghanistan's Bamiyan province, as reported by the state-owned Bakhtar News Agency late Wednesday.
The incident took place in the Kotal Bukak area of Yakawlang district, where a mini-bus overturned due to a mechanical failure, resulting in one passenger being pronounced dead at the scene and injuring 14 others, including women and children, according to Mohammad Khawani Rasa, the provincial police spokesman.
All injured parties have been rushed to nearby medical facilities for urgent care.
In a separate incident on July 28, at least six individuals perished and 30 more were injured in a highway collision in eastern Afghanistan's Ghazni province, as reported by Bakhtar News Agency.
The deadly crash occurred on Monday afternoon in the Askarkot region of Qarabagh district, along the main highway linking southern Kandahar to the capital, Kabul. This information was provided by Mohammad Zark Zirak, head of provincial public health.
A bus collided with a fuel tanker traveling in the opposite direction, claiming six lives on the spot and injuring 30 others, Zirak noted.
The injured have been transferred to local health facilities, with five reported in critical condition, the official added.

Herat governor's spokesperson, Mohammad Yousuf Saeedi, confirmed that the incident occurred on May 3, noting that two passengers from the vehicle were rescued alive.
