Washington, Dec 26 (NationPress) US President-elect Donald Trump spread a collection of Christmas cheer on his social media platform, Truth Social, which featured his jest about Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as 'Governor' and proposed that Canada might one day be the 51st state of the USA.

In his post, Trump reiterated his 'Governor' quip, asserting that if Canada were to join the United States as the 51st state, 'their Taxes would be slashed by over 60%, their businesses would instantly double in size, and they would be secured militarily like no other nation across the globe.'

He went on to suggest that NHL icon Wayne Gretzky should helm the nation.

This follows Trump's recent viral remark, in which he called Trudeau the 'Governor of the Great State of Canada' after their dinner meeting.

On Truth Social, Trump noted, 'It was a pleasure to have dinner the other night with Governor Justin Trudeau of the Great State of Canada. I eagerly anticipate seeing the Governor again soon so we can further discuss tariffs and trade, the outcomes of which will be remarkable for everyone!'

The comment elicited widespread laughter and debate, with many speculating whether it was an intentional slight.

He also took aim at 'radical left lunatics.'

Expanding on his contentious remarks, Trump made thinly veiled threats regarding US authority over the Panama Canal, proclaiming, 'Merry Christmas to all, including the wonderful soldiers of China, who are affectionately, but unlawfully, managing the Panama Canal (where we lost 38,000 people during its construction 110 years ago), always ensuring that the United States invests billions in 'repair' funds, yet has nothing to say about 'anything.'

He sarcastically commented on Greenland, stating, 'To the people of Greenland, which is essential for the United States for National Security reasons and who wish for the US presence, we will be there!'

Trump also criticized leftist detractors, stating, 'Merry Christmas to the Radical Left Lunatics, who continually try to hinder our Court System and our Elections, and are perpetually attacking the Great Citizens and Patriots of the United States, particularly their Political Opponent, myself.'

He accused them of seeking clemency from President Joe Biden, whom he characterized as a man with 'absolutely no clue what he is doing.'

Trump further targeted recent pardons granted by Biden, asserting, 'Also, to the 37 most heinous criminals, who killed, raped, and plundered like few before them, but were just astonishingly pardoned by Sleepy Joe Biden. I refuse to wish a Merry Christmas to those fortunate 'souls,' and instead will say, go to hell!'
