Washington, March 1 (NationPress) On Sunday, President Donald Trump issued a stark warning to Iran, cautioning against any military aggression and declaring that if provoked, the U.S. would respond with a "force that has never been seen before."

Trump stated, "Iran has claimed they intend to strike harder than ever before today. They should think twice because if they proceed, our response will be unprecedented! Thank you for your attention to this matter," he added in his announcement.

This warning emerged after the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran declared its intent to retaliate against the "murderers" of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, whose death was confirmed by state media. They vowed that their response would be the "most ferocious offensive operation in history" aimed at the U.S. and Israel.

The IRGC stated on its official Telegram account, "The Iranian nation's hand of revenge will not relent against those responsible for the severe and regrettable punishment for the Imam of the Ummah."

Additionally, the IRGC, along with the Armed Forces and Basij units, pledged to uphold their leader's legacy by resisting both internal and external threats and delivering what they call a punitive lesson to those who threaten the Islamic Republic.

The IRGC has also announced the commencement of the fifth phase of Operation True Promise 4, which involves targeting American vessels in the region, including those in the Indian Ocean, involved in ammunition transport and refueling operations.

In their statement, the IRGC revealed, "During the fifth phase of Operation True Promise 4 in the Indian Ocean, the MSP vessel, tasked with transporting ammunition for American ships, was struck by four drones and rendered completely inoperative following a series of damages and explosions."

Moreover, the IRGC claimed that a U.S. naval base located in the Abdullah Al-Mubarak area of Kuwait was targeted with four ballistic missiles and 12 drones, resulting in significant destruction of the base's primary infrastructure and considerable casualties among American personnel.

Furthermore, the IRGC reported that the MST-class combat support ship, serving as a refueling tanker for U.S. vessels in the region, was hit by Iranian Qadr 380 missiles.

"The fighters of the Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, in collaboration with our aerospace forces, will keep the gates of hell open for enemy units," they stated.

Khamenei's assassination in a significant attack by the U.S. and Israel represents a pivotal moment in the 46-year Shia-theocratic governance, as Tehran's response ignites widespread unrest across the Middle East.
