Bengaluru, Feb 11 (NationPress) The 10th International Women's Conference will see the attendance of President Droupadi Murmu, along with numerous prominent women from diverse fields such as politics, business, arts, and social impact, as confirmed by an official announcement.

The Art of Living will host the event, uniting over 60 speakers and more than 500 delegates.

Since its inception nearly two decades ago, the International Women's Conference has hosted 463 speakers and attracted over 6,000 delegates from 115 countries.

This year's event is scheduled to take place from February 14 to 16 at the Art of Living International Centre in Bengaluru, as per the official statement.

In addition to the President, other distinguished guests include Karnataka Governor Thaawar Chand Gehlot, Union Minister Annapurna Devi, Minister of State Shobha Karandlaje, former Minister of State Meenakshi Lekhi, Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland, and Akie Abe, spouse of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

As per the statement, renowned actresses Hema Malini and Sharmila Tagore, along with Bollywood stars Sara Ali Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, are also expected to attend.

Prominent business figures such as Radhika Gupta and Kanika Tekriwal will be part of this esteemed gathering.

The International Women's Conference is led by Bhanumathi Narasimhan, the sister of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. She oversees women's welfare and child care initiatives under The Art of Living, a non-profit organization that operates in 180 countries.

The organization stated, "With profound roots in spirituality and a comprehensive outlook on humanitarian service, Bhanumathi has devoted over four decades to championing positive social change through efforts in education, environmental sustainability, and women's empowerment."

The conference theme is derived from a poem titled "Just Be" by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.

The event will host in-depth discussions on leadership, self-discovery, and empowerment. Cultural highlights will include an International Food Festival and a musical showcase called Sita Charitam, as noted in the statement.

This year’s conference will also introduce a segment titled "Stylish InsideOut: Fashion for a Cause", featuring creations from eminent Indian designers such as Sabyasachi, Rahul Mishra, Manish Malhotra, and Raw Mango. The designs will be auctioned, with proceeds directed towards supporting the Art of Living Free Schools.
