Patna, Nov 9 (NationPress) Intensifying his critique of the Mahagathabandhan, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday blamed the RJD-Congress governments for dismantling Bihar's rich and illustrious history, leading to a serious literacy crisis during their governance.
During his final campaign rallies, the UP CM condemned the RJD-Congress coalition for dragging the state into a state of anarchy and highlighted the contrasting development path taken by the NDA under a double-engine governance model.
"Those who have contributed to the crisis in Bihar, a state with a prestigious heritage, are the true offenders. Their questionable and grim history is not worthy of trust," he urged the audience, cautioning them to be vigilant while voting.
"Those who have created an identity crisis for the populace, inflicted anarchy upon Bihar, and allowed the state to languish, are now misleading citizens with grand promises and job guarantees. Trust must not be placed in those with a sinister history," he remarked while campaigning in the Sikti Assembly constituency.
Furthermore, the UP CM asserted, "Bihar's renaissance began in 2005 when Nitish Kumar assumed the role of Chief Minister, establishing the NDA government. Presently, Bihar's youth are pioneering new pathways of growth globally, excelling in various sectors, including civil services, startups, and entrepreneurship."
The senior BJP figure noted that "over 60 massacres and more than 30,000 kidnappings transpired during the 15-year period of anarchy, instilling fear even among the educated community, including engineers and doctors."
He highlighted the success of the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and welfare initiatives, stating that "46 crore individuals have been included in the banking system, with funds being directly deposited into beneficiaries' accounts."
"The time of Congress and RJD's brokerage has come to an end," he remarked, taking a jab at the Opposition, while also criticizing the Lalu-era for the notorious multi-crore fodder scam.
The Chief Minister urged voters to keep the "power-hungry" Opposition at bay and encouraged them to support the NDA to ensure that Bihar's progress remains unstoppable.
