New Delhi, Feb 7 (NationPress) Following the allegations made by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday, claiming that the Bharatiya Janata Party was trying to poach its candidates before the February 8 election results, AAP leaders on Friday reinforced their chief's statements, asserting that the BJP was leveraging its power to entice their party members. In contrast, the BJP has categorically refuted these assertions.

AAP MP Sandeep Pathak stated, "It is absolutely true, and it is based on facts. Numerous individuals have received phone calls, and the originating numbers have been documented. It is well-known how the BJP operates, and this is simply a part of their election strategy. After elections, people focus on counting, and then they engage in these kinds of actions."

Meanwhile, an AAP candidate from Mustafabad, Adil Ahmad Khan, visited Arvind Kejriwal's home and mentioned that he had not experienced any attempts to lure him. "No one dares to call Adil Ahmad Khan. People recognize that I am a soldier of Arvind Kejriwal. The BJP's entire machinery can go anywhere, but their use of agencies in this election is utterly disgraceful," he remarked.

The BJP has retaliated, dismissing the allegations.

BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal accused Kejriwal and AAP of fabricating lies. "We are all aware that Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party have turned into a factory for generating new lies. Over the last decade, the residents of Delhi have suffered through these falsehoods, which is why Delhi is in such poor condition today. However, Kejriwal should realize that his grip on power in Delhi is weakening," he stated.

BJP MP Yogender Chandoliya shared similar views, labeling Kejriwal as a "dishonest individual, a liar who constantly spreads falsehoods."

"His greatest falsehood was when he claimed that the BJP government in Haryana had poisoned the Yamuna river, which exposed him. Can anyone be bought? Perhaps MLAs can be, but when the BJP is poised to secure over 36 seats, why would we need to buy anyone?" Chandoliya questioned.

Earlier on Thursday, Arvind Kejriwal directly charged the BJP with attempting to entice AAP candidates through financial and political incentives.

"Some agencies are indicating that the abusive party (BJP) is expected to win more than 55 seats. In the last two hours, 16 of our candidates received calls suggesting that if they left AAP and joined their party, they would be appointed ministers and receive Rs 15 crore each," Kejriwal posted on the social media platform X.

As the election results are set to be announced tomorrow, political tensions between AAP and BJP continue to escalate.
