New Delhi, Jan 25 (NationPress) Continuing the ongoing poster battle between the two leading political factions ahead of the forthcoming Delhi Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) launched a collection of videos and a new poster on Saturday to criticize the BJP and challenge the Delhi Police's management of law and order.
This Saturday, AAP introduced a fresh poster bearing the slogan "5 February ko Bag Pack, 8 February ko Go Back," delivering a compelling call to action against the BJP.
Accompanying the poster, the party tweeted on its official X handle, “Delhi residents will assist in BJP's bag pack during the upcoming elections.”
In addition to the poster, various videos were shared, showcasing slogans like “Tadipar Chikara” and “Delhi Wale, BJP Ka Karenge Bag Pack,” consistently targeting the BJP.
The AAP's campaign appears to be aimed at depicting the BJP as a central figure responsible for the deteriorating law and order situation in the national capital, a theme that the AAP has persistently emphasized, often noting that the Delhi Police operates under the Union Home Ministry.
Arvind Kejriwal, the National Convenor of the AAP, has been outspoken in his condemnation of the Central government and Home Minister Amit Shah, blaming them for their inability to maintain law and order in Delhi.
He argues that, while the Delhi government is responsible for critical services like education, healthcare, sanitation, electricity, and water, the obligation for maintaining law and order rests with the Central government.
Kejriwal contends that, despite the escalating crime rate in Delhi, the Centre has failed to take any significant action to remedy the situation.
Furthermore, the AAP has accused the BJP of politicizing the Delhi Police, asserting that police forces have been utilized for campaigning alongside BJP candidates instead of prioritizing law enforcement.
Kejriwal has also claimed that BJP supporters have participated in assaults on AAP members, while the police have overlooked these occurrences, suggesting a political bias.
By means of its posters and videos, AAP seeks to draw attention to the escalating crime rate in Delhi.
