Moreover, external elements such as weather conditions, runway status, and wind direction will be factored into the investigation, according to the officials.
In total, five individuals, including Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, lost their lives in the Baramati plane crash on Wednesday morning, based on flight records.
Alongside Deputy CM Pawar, those on the Learjet 45 aircraft (registration VT-SSK), operated by VSR, included a personal security officer (PSO), an attendant, and two crew members: a Pilot-in-Command (PIC) and a Second-in-Command (SIC).
The deceased have been identified as Vidip Jadhav (male) and Pinky Mali (female). The crew members were PIC Sumit Kapur and SIC Shambhavi Pathak, per the passenger list.
Senior security officials and emergency services have arrived at the site in Baramati. Rescue teams were mobilized promptly after the aircraft lost control during the landing phase.
A team from the DGCA is on the scene conducting investigations.
