In terms of earnings, Ajmal has declared an income of approximately Rs 3.21 crore for the fiscal year 2024-25, while his spouse reported an income of Rs 49,950 during the same timeframe.
Over the past decade, Ajmal's wealth has witnessed a dramatic increase, with his total assets now exceeding Rs 169 crore, as shown in his latest election affidavit. A comparison with previous affidavits indicates a consistent rise in Ajmal's net worth over the last decade.
During the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Ajmal reported assets in the range of Rs 44-50 crore. By the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, his total assets had surged to around Rs 78-90 crore, demonstrating nearly a doubling of his wealth within five years.
In his most recent affidavit, Ajmal's declared assets have jumped to over Rs 169 crore, more than tripling his wealth compared to ten years ago.
This increase is mainly attributed to a rise in his immovable assets, which are now valued at approximately Rs 149 crore, in addition to movable assets exceeding Rs 52 crore.
His investments cover a range of areas, including real estate, business interests, stocks, and financial instruments, as detailed in the annexures of the affidavit.
