Key Takeaways
Patna, Nov 5 (NationPress) Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav emphasized on Wednesday that a political transformation in Bihar is on the horizon, asserting that the citizens are prepared to remove the BJP from authority and establish a new government under the guidance of RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav.
During four consecutive election rallies in Nawada, Jamui, Belhar (Banka), and Nathnagar (Bhagalpur) to support INDIA bloc candidates, Yadav noted that the public sentiment strongly indicates dissatisfaction with the BJP.
"The winds of change are evident in Bihar. The populace has grown weary of the BJP. This time, the government will be altered based on issues like employment, education, and development," he stated.
Yadav remarked that Bihar has historically influenced national politics and predicted that a significant political change would once again originate from the state.
"The INDIA bloc government will be established, and Tejashwi Yadav will assume the role of the young Chief Minister. The incoming government will focus on creating job opportunities for the youth," he affirmed.
Criticizing the ruling party, the SP leader claimed that the BJP has neglected both farmers and young people. "The BJP has burdened Bihar with inflation, corruption, and unemployment. After exploiting Bihar’s budget, BJP leaders amassed wealth and moved it out of the state. The BJP’s reign of exploitation must cease now," he commented.
Akhilesh Yadav expressed that the citizens are eager to establish a government rooted in social justice, equality, and opportunity under the INDIA bloc. He also pledged to provide 200 units of free electricity to every household and enforce a strong law-and-order system if the alliance gains power.
In his attack on the BJP over rising costs, he stated: "The prices of diesel, petrol, LPG, and essential goods have reached unprecedented levels. The BJP government has driven inflation and unemployment to intolerable heights."
Referencing Bihar’s historical significance, he added: "Bihar is the birthplace of non-violence and social justice — the land of Mahavir, Buddha, Karpoori Thakur, and Lalu Prasad Yadav. BJP leaders have come here to impart political wisdom, yet the people of Bihar are already politically astute and guide the nation."
He asserted that the Samajwadi Party had triumphed over the BJP in Uttar Pradesh, and now Bihar would replicate that success.
"This election is pivotal for the youth's future and the nation's dignity. This time, harmony, the Constitution, and social justice will reign in Bihar. Bihar will craft a new narrative," he concluded.
The first phase of voting across 121 seats in Bihar is scheduled for Thursday.
