Patna, June 24 (NationPress) Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, unveiled his vision for governance on Tuesday, outlining what the RJD would prioritize if elected in the upcoming 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. He emphasized his previous successes and future objectives.
In a comprehensive post on Facebook, Tejashwi reminisced about his 17-month term in office, stating that his leadership resulted in the creation of 500,000 jobs, with an additional 350,000 jobs in progress.
“We have demonstrated that with passion, effort, and commitment, even the seemingly impossible can become a reality,” he remarked, criticizing the NDA government for having “misled the public with excuses of impossibility for the last two decades.”
Tejashwi also reminded voters about the 1 million job promise from the 2020 Assembly elections, which was ridiculed by the ruling parties back then.
“Our results confirmed that this goal was not just feasible but also realistic,” the RJD leader emphasized.
He regarded the caste census as a pivotal move and credited the unity of Bihar for its success, describing it as a necessity for justice.
Tejashwi reaffirmed his pledge to implement a 65% reservation policy and introduced plans for a domicile-based framework aimed at restoring the dignity and rights of Biharis.
He promised to allocate ₹200,000 annually to 94 lakh underprivileged families, alongside raising the social security pension from ₹400 to ₹1,500 per month, claiming these proposals had already compelled the NDA to reassess their position.
Outlining a vision for Bihar's industrial evolution, Tejashwi committed to initiating projects such as Global IT Parks, industrial clusters, textile parks, pharmaceutical hubs, educational cities, and food processing units.
“Our intentions are sincere; our age may be young, but our determination is unwavering,” he stated.
He assured that if the public endorses the RJD with power, the government would promptly engage in inclusive and constructive governance, striving to make Bihar the top state in India within a span of five years.
Tejashwi concluded with a direct appeal to the electorate to reject the “double standards” of the NDA and help establish a 'Naya Bihar'.
