Mahakumbh Nagar, Feb 24 (NationPress) The final phase of Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj is attracting a host of celebrities from the film industry.

Star actors including Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, and Sonali Bendre graced Prayagraj on Monday to embrace the spiritual essence of the festival while showcasing their faith in the rich traditions of Sanatan Dharma.

Akshay Kumar immersed himself in the holy waters of Triveni Sangam and commended the administrative efforts of Yogi Adityanath for the exemplary arrangements made for this massive religious event in the country.

"This was a remarkable experience. The management this year is exceptional, and I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. While there were some hurdles in 2019, this year, everything is impressively organized," he remarked following his sacred bath.

He praised the contributions of sanitation workers and cleaners, noting that their relentless efforts are responsible for the accolades being received by the Maha Kumbh.

Additionally, he acknowledged the dedication of police personnel, asserting that their continuous efforts have contributed significantly to the success of the Kumbh.

Bollywood actresses Katrina Kaif and Sonali Bendre were also seen at the Maha Kumbh with their families. Katrina Kaif received blessings from spiritual leaders at Parmarth Niketan alongside her mother-in-law.
