Amit Shah Commends ITBP Forces for Their Vigilance in Border Regions

New Delhi, Dec 28 (NationPress) Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed his admiration on Friday night for the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel who are dedicated to securing the border regions under difficult terrains and climates across the nation.
In a post shared on the social media platform X, the Union Minister remarked: "The nation takes pride in the @ITBP_official soldiers who play a pivotal role in defending the border and ensuring the safety of border areas even in challenging circumstances. Through the 'Vibrant Village Program', ITBP is also accelerating development initiatives in these border regions."
Home Minister Shah added: "Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the concept of vibrant villages to offer the best amenities to individuals residing in border villages, ensuring their population not only remains stable but also grows."
He suggested that ITBP might also serve as the nodal agency for executing development projects in these border communities.
He further stated: "Member of Parliament from Garhwal (Uttarakhand) @anil_baluni spent the night among the courageous ITBP soldiers, commending the dedication and commitment of the 'Himveers' and uplifting their spirits."
Earlier on Friday, BJP MP from Uttarakhand's Garhwal Lok Sabha constituency, Anil Baluni, spent a day with the ITBP personnel, whom he refers to as 'Himveers' (snow bravehearts) for their selfless service in the most difficult climates and frigid temperatures at the country's borders.
Baluni expressed that every citizen feels a sense of pride for our security personnel who protect the nation's borders and consistently embody the spirit of patriotism and service to the motherland.
The BJP MP posted on X: "Enlightened pure Bharati from the high peak of Himadri, the radiant light itself calls for freedom."
He continued: "I had the privilege to spend a day with the ITBP Himveers who are devoted to serving Maa Bharati in the most arduous conditions and live their daily lives. Every Indian takes pride in witnessing our soldiers safeguarding the nation's borders under such extreme circumstances, and it perpetually ignites the spirit of patriotism within their hearts."
