New Delhi, Dec 28 (NationPress) Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to solidify the BJP’s plan for the upcoming Assembly elections in four states—Assam, West Bengal, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu—as he embarks on a two-week tour of these election-focused regions starting Sunday.
“Following the triumph in the Bihar Assembly elections, HM Shah has detailed a comprehensive strategy for the Assembly elections next year in these four states,” remarked a party leader.
His itinerary includes visits to Assam on December 28 and 29, West Bengal on December 30 and 31, Tamil Nadu in the first week of January, and Kerala in the second week, according to the party’s organizational unit.
Shah plans to dedicate at least two days each month in these election-bound states leading up to the elections, focusing on strategies aimed at securing victories, given that three of these four states currently have non-NDA administrations.
During his visits, HM Shah will concentrate on energizing Panna Pramukhs and implementing the 'Mera Booth Sabse Majboot' initiative, holding organizational meetings and engaging with party workers.
BJP sources indicated that Shah is gearing up to replicate the NDA's significant win in the recent Bihar Assembly elections, despite a misinformation campaign launched by the Mahagathbandhan concerning the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
Time and again, HM Shah has shown he is the principal strategist behind the NDA's electoral successes, skillfully crafting state-specific campaigns centered around the NDA's national poll figure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In addition to collaborating with NDA allies, the Union Minister's successful formula includes a well-structured approach to engage with dissenters and smooth over any issues to prevent them from impacting the alliance's voter base by running as independents.
In the Bihar elections, it is believed that Shah personally listened to nearly 100 dissenters who were countering the party's interests.
His forthcoming visits to the four states will also involve gauging local sentiments, pinpointing critical issues, and preparing in advance to counter the narratives of rival parties, according to a party leader.
The BJP is also strategizing to counteract the politics of falsehood being employed by opposition parties regarding issues such as the rural job program, VB G RAM G, SIR, employment statistics, and other socio-economic concerns, as noted by a party leader.
