Amaravati, June 6 (NationPress) The Mega DSC examination commenced throughout Andhra Pradesh on Friday, aiming to recruit 16,347 teachers, with over 3.36 lakh candidates participating at 154 centers.
The District Selection Committee (DSC) exam will run until May 30, featuring daily computer-based tests (CBT) in two distinct sessions.
The first session starts at 9:30 a.m. and wraps up at noon, with candidates being admitted from 9 a.m..
The subsequent session will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., allowing candidates to enter 30 minutes prior to the exam.
The Department of School Education has made comprehensive arrangements for the DSC-2025 exam, targeting to fill 16,347 teacher positions across various categories in government, local body, and society schools statewide.
A total of 137 exam centers have been established in Andhra Pradesh alongside 17 centers in Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Odisha.
Overall, 3,36,305 candidates submitted 5,77,675 applications for various roles, including school assistants, secondary grade teachers, physical education teachers (PETs), principals, Post-Graduate Teachers (PGTs), and Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs).
