Amaravati, April 20 (NationPress) The Andhra Pradesh government has issued a notification for a 'Mega District Selection Committee' aimed at filling 16,347 teacher positions throughout the state.
The Department of School Education has released this notification to address the vacancies via the District Selection Committee (DSC).
According to V. Vijay Rama Raju, the Director of School Education, candidates can apply online and submit their fees from April 20 to May 15.
Applications can be completed through the official websites of the School Education Department at https://cse.ap.gov.in and https://apdsc.apcfss.in.
An online mock test for the Mega DSC is set to be available starting May 20. Candidates will be able to download their hall tickets from May 30.
The Computer-Based Tests (CBT) are scheduled to take place between June 6 and July 6.
The initial answer key will be published two days following the last examination. Candidates can contest the initial key within seven days of its publication. The final key will be disclosed seven days after the deadline for raising objections, and the merit list will be released seven days following the final key's announcement.
The notification includes all pertinent details regarding the Mega DSC-2025, such as relevant Government Orders, post specifics, exam timelines, syllabus, and helpdesk information, all accessible on the website.
As per the Director of School Education, 14,088 vacancies will be filled at the district level and 2,259 vacancies at the state/zonal level.
The district-level vacancies consist of 7,487 school assistants, 6,599 secondary grade teachers, and two physical education teachers.
Nara Lokesh, the State Education Minister, expressed that the coalition government has fulfilled another promise with the release of the Mega DSC notification. He conveyed his best wishes to all candidates.
The minister stated that this was a key commitment from the manifesto.
