Amaravati, March 19 (NationPress) In a significant gesture for the youth of Andhra Pradesh, the state government unveiled a job calendar on Thursday, aimed at filling over 10,060 job openings across various sectors through the State Public Service Commission.

According to this calendar, there will be four job notifications released between May 15 and October 15, 2026.

The first notification, set for May 15, will address 1,500 vacancies in the higher education sector.

On August 15, another notification will announce 91 Group-I positions, along with 2,778 roles in the Home Department and 928 positions in additional sectors.

The third notification on September 15 will cover 750 Group-II roles, 503 engineering posts, and 506 vacancies in other departments.

The final notification, scheduled for October 15, will fill 3,004 vacancies in school and intermediate education.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu encouraged job seekers to take advantage of these opportunities with seriousness and merit.

In a post on X, he expressed that the "Jobs First" initiative is a key policy of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP)-led administration.

Since the TDP coalition took power, the Chief Minister stated that over 600,000 jobs and employment opportunities have been created in both public and private sectors.

He noted that this year, with increased investments and industry development, there will be substantial job creation in the private sector.

During the Ugadi celebrations in Vijayawada, Chief Minister Naidu highlighted that the state government had successfully recruited 15,940 teachers through the Mega District Selection Committee and 5,757 Police Constables.

Naidu affirmed that 30,607 government positions have been filled, while 628,000 individuals found jobs in the private sector.

The government is committed to delivering on its promise of creating 2 million jobs within five years.

Minister of Human Resources Development and IT, Nara Lokesh, expressed his satisfaction that the "People's government" has fulfilled his commitment made during the Yuvagalam Padyatra by releasing this job calendar.

He announced that there will be a job announcement festival each year on Ugadi.

"I have honored my promise. The People's Government has unveiled the Job Calendar. Now, it's time to prepare for the competitive exams. Wishing all job aspirants a joyful Ugadi," Minister Lokesh stated.
