He noted that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi is striving for a Viksit Bharat by 2047, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is dedicated to creating a healthy, wealthy, and happy Andhra Pradesh to achieve Swarnandhra Pradesh.
During the ‘Good Governance Day’ celebrations organized by the state government, he emphasized that the collaboration between PM Modi and Chandrababu Naidu will elevate the country to a leading position.
“For Andhra Pradesh to flourish healthily, prosperously, and happily, under the guidance of our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, the central government will leave no stone unturned. We will work together,” he stated.
Previously, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Venkatapalem in the Amaravati capital region during the Good Governance Day and Atal Bihari Vajpayee centenary celebrations. They later planted saplings in the Vajpayee Memorial Park.
While speaking, the Union Minister referred to Vajpayee as a great patriot and a man of peace, stating that his impact on India’s political landscape will be remembered for ages.
“Atal Ji inspires us. I first heard him speak while studying in Bhopal, and his words continue to resonate with me,” he shared.
He also mentioned that former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru acknowledged Vajpayee’s capabilities and predicted that he would someday become Prime Minister. He highlighted Vajpayee’s constructive role in opposition, supporting Indira Gandhi to safeguard the nation’s interests, and demonstrated India’s strength through the Pokhran atomic tests.
Chouhan expressed that the bond between Vajpayee and Chandrababu Naidu was based on trust, vision, and development, rather than mere politics.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu characterized Shivraj Singh Chouhan as a pragmatic leader who actively contributes to environmental conservation. He noted that the government could enhance the Vajpayee Memorial Park in Amaravati with the contributions of farmers from the capital region.
BJP state president PVN Madhav, Union Ministers Srinivas Varma, Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, Ministers Satyakumar Yadav, P Narayana, and Kandula Durgesh also spoke at the event.
Earlier, Union Minister Chouhan visited Chandrababu Naidu at his residence.
“We had an extensive discussion regarding crucial aspects of agriculture and rural development in the state, concentrating on policy initiatives, infrastructure upgrades, farmer welfare, and sustainable agricultural practices,” Chouhan shared on ‘X’.
