Anoop Antony Joseph: A Life Dedication to PM Modi's Vision
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Thiruvalla (Kerala), April 5 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during a grand public rally on Saturday, praised Anoop Antony Joseph, the BJP candidate for the Thiruvalla Assembly seat, calling him his 'right-hand man'. This event occurred as the state prepares for the upcoming Kerala Assembly elections.
Feeling overwhelmed, Anoop Antony Joseph shared with IANS, “Words cannot capture my emotions. The Prime Minister has shown kindness towards someone as humble as me. I am profoundly grateful and feel truly privileged. My life is devoted to him.”
Anoop Antony Joseph, who is a leading Christian figure within the BJP in Kerala and a former National Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), has collaborated closely with PM Modi for the last four to five years.
Reflecting on the occasion, he stated, “The blessing I received from PM Modi today is the most cherished moment of my life.” He emphasized that with the support of PM Modi and the Central Government, Thiruvalla could experience remarkable development if an NDA-endorsed MLA is elected.
“I am a leader who lives among the people and supports them through every challenge,” he affirmed.
Discussing 'Modi’s Guarantee', Anoop pointed out that its greatest strength lies in prioritizing marginalized groups. He credited PM Modi for elevating the status of Dalits, Scheduled Tribes, the North-Eastern region, and empowering individuals from communities such as his own.
He noted that women's empowerment stands as one of PM Modi’s key achievements, highlighting initiatives for women’s welfare and the historic reservation for women in Parliament.
Meanwhile, Kummanam Rajasekharan, the NDA candidate from Aranmula and former Mizoram Governor, remarked to IANS that the populace in Kerala is gradually recognizing that neither the LDF nor the UDF presents a viable alternative.
“Thousands gathered today to see and hear PM Modi. People are calling for change, and the BJP is prepared to cater to the needs of Keralites,” he stated.
Rajasekharan underscored the absence of industrial and commercial infrastructure in the state, which has driven many Malayalis to seek employment elsewhere. “We must acknowledge the reality that job opportunities are scarce here,” he commented.
Gopal Shetty, a senior BJP leader from Maharashtra, who has been campaigning in Kerala with a team led by Vinod Tawde since March 20, indicated that the substantial turnout at the rally signifies a “monumental political shift” in the state.
“The overwhelming response has shaken the confidence of both LDF and UDF. Today’s rally is evidence that the BJP is poised for victory in Kerala,” he proclaimed.
The rally attracted significant public participation, indicating a growing support for the BJP-led NDA in central Kerala as the state approaches the polls on April 9.
