Bengaluru, Feb 12 (NationPress) The Adani Defence and Aerospace booth at the ongoing Aero India 2025 captured significant attention on Wednesday as Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi and Navy Chief Admiral D.K. Tripathi toured the exhibit, gaining firsthand insights into the advanced weaponry showcased.
General Upendra Dwivedi and Fleet Chief Admiral D.K. Tripathi received detailed briefings from Adani Defence & Aerospace CEO Ashish Rajvanshi regarding the weapon systems presented and the company's commitment to pioneering next-gen technologies.
Remarkably, the Adani Defence and Aerospace stall, which highlights cutting-edge technologies, is among the key features of Asia's most significant five-day air show dubbed ‘Aero India 2025’, currently in progress in Bengaluru.
Emphasizing advanced technologies, the stall displays state-of-the-art weaponry. A standout exhibit is the ‘Vehicle-Mounted Counter-Drone System’, developed in partnership with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
The exhibition provides a glimpse into futuristic weaponry through four defensive layers: protection, detection, neutralization, and the integration of artificial intelligence in safeguarding national sovereignty.
Ashish Rajvanshi, CEO of Adani Defence and Aerospace, shared with IANS, "All the capabilities we are showcasing are on display at the exhibition. From drones to small arms, ammunition, missiles, surface-guided missiles, and most importantly, artificial intelligence and advanced machinery, Adani Group has been collaborating closely with the defense sector."
He added, "Today, every airborne object poses a threat. We are designing nano, mini, and micro drones, which will effectively deter and neutralize these aerial threats. Our focus is on developing essential capabilities, including electronic warfare."
The last notable appearance of the Army Chief at the Aero Show was when he took a flight alongside Air Force Chief A.P. Singh aboard the Tejas fighter aircraft, prior to the commencement of the grand event.
Both military leaders enjoyed a 45-minute flight in the indigenous Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas, with the Army Chief piloting and the Air Force Chief serving as co-pilot.
