Itanagar, July 28 (NationPress) The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Lt. General K.T. Parnaik (Retd.), officially inaugurated the 7-summit mountaineering expedition of Kabak Yano from the Raj Bhavan on Monday.
During the event, the Governor presented Yano with a ceremonial ice axe adorned with the flags of India and the emblem of Arunachal Pradesh, alongside the state’s Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Kento Jini.
He also extended vital financial support to facilitate her ambitious mission.
Addressing the attendees, the Governor characterized this moment as a historic milestone and a genuine tribute to courage, determination, and the unyielding spirit that aspires to transcend limitations.
He remarked that very few individuals globally have dared to undertake the daunting challenge of the 7-Summit Mountaineering Expedition, which aims to scale the tallest peaks across all seven continents.
