Atul Subhash Case: Bengaluru Police Informed About Child's Location in Haryana Hostel

Bengaluru, Jan 7 (NationPress) A residential institution located in Faridabad, Haryana has provided details to the Bengaluru Police concerning the whereabouts of the missing child of the late tech entrepreneur Atul Subhash. The school has verified that the child is presently residing in its hostel.

The parents of the late Atul Subhash have approached the Supreme Court to seek custody of their grandchild, expressing concerns regarding his safety as they believed he was missing.

The school clarified, “Currently, winter vacations are underway, and no one has come to pick up the boy for the break. We have made special arrangements for him to stay in the hostel during this vacation period under the school’s supervision.”

Dr. Arun Kumar Sharma, the principal of Satyug Darshan Vidyalaya, a residential school in Faridabad, has penned a letter in response to inquiries by the Marathahalli police. This letter, addressed to the police sub-inspector, confirms that Atul’s four-year-old son is a registered student at the school.

Reports from IANS indicate that a letter from the school was obtained, responding to the Bengaluru Police's inquiries about the location of Atul Subhash and Nikita Singhania's four-year-old son. The principal has also provided relevant documentation related to the child's admission, which is now in the possession of IANS, including the admission form with specific details.

The letter reveals that the child's mother, Nikita Singhania, who works as a technical team leader, claims to be the sole guardian of the child, having removed the section meant for the father's details.

The documentation states that the boy is currently residing in the hostel and is enrolled in Grade Nursery at the school. Nikita Singhania personally completed the admission process for her son.

It was reported that Atul Subhash took his own life, alleging that his wife demanded Rs 3 crore as part of their divorce settlement.

The police registered an FIR against the accused individuals under Sections 108, 3 (5) of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) on December 9.

Bikas Kumar, the brother of Atul Subhash, lodged a police complaint alleging abetment to suicide with the Marathahalli Police in Bengaluru.

In the complaint, Bikas Kumar alleged that false cases were filed against his brother (Atul Subhash) by the accused, demanding Rs 3 crore to settle the dispute. He also claimed that his brother faced taunts in court during proceedings, with pressure to either pay Rs 3 crore or take drastic measures.

Nikita's family alleged that the late Subhash demanded a significant dowry from her family, which they claim contributed to her father's demise.

Pavan Kumar Modi, the father of Atul Subhash, expressed concern over the safety of his grandson, stating, "My grandson was seen as an ATM to her. She received money under the guise of caring for him. She approached the High Court demanding between Rs 20,000 and Rs 40,000. She continued to escalate her demands, ultimately requesting Rs 80,000 and more. Therefore, we have sought the Supreme Court's intervention for custody of the child, as we believe he is safe with us," he stated.

The Karnataka High Court on Monday dismissed the plea to quash the FIR against Nikita Singhania in relation to the alleged suicide case of Bengaluru techie Atul Subhash.
