Avoid Being Manipulated by Opposition Parties: Gourav Vallabh to Farmers on Protest

New Delhi, Dec 8 (NationPress) BJP spokesperson Gourav Vallabh addressed the farmers protesting on Sunday, asking them not to be manipulated by the opposition political parties.

In an interview with IANS, Gourav Vallabh stated, “Our government holds great respect for all the ‘Annadatas’ (food providers) of the nation. We commend the invaluable contributions of farmers across the country. However, I urge my fellow farmers not to allow themselves to be used as mere pawns by these opposition parties.”

“Regarding MSP (Minimum Support Price), the advancements made over the past decade have been unprecedented. The initiatives undertaken in the last ten years for farmer welfare have been unmatched,” he continued.

“Whether it is the Per Drop More Crop scheme, the Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) initiative providing Rs 6000 annually to each family, Neem-coated urea, or the streamlined access to urea and other fertilizers, we are dedicated to fulfilling our commitments. We acknowledge your concerns and have been actively working on them for the past ten years, and will persist in our efforts in the future,” the BJP leader elaborated.

“The government’s doors are perpetually open to farmers. If they wish to consult with the minister, officials, experts, or agricultural scientists, the government is accessible around the clock… they are encouraged to engage in dialogue… the Modi government is devoted to addressing all their concerns,” Vallabh conveyed to IANS.

Additionally, the BJP leader commented on Iltija Mufti’s assertion that “Hindutva is a disease,” questioning the quietude of the INDIA bloc leaders in response to this contentious statement.

“Will the leaders of the INDIA alliance respond to this or maintain their typical silence? In Tamil Nadu, Sanatan is referred to as coronavirus, and Rahul Gandhi remains silent. The Congress chooses silence, Aam Aadmi Party leaders are mute, and INDI alliance leader Akhilesh Yadav stays quiet. This indicates their tacit agreement,” Vallabh remarked.

“Now a member party of the INDI alliance has declared that Hindutva is a disease… the true disease is the mindset that led to the deaths of countless innocents in Kashmir, which is termed a disease; the spread of terrorism is a disease. The selective killings of Hindus in Bangladesh and the incarceration of Hindu Sadhus are indicative of that mindset, which constitutes a disease,” he emphasized.

He also called upon the Jammu and Kashmir government to take measures against individuals attempting to disrupt religious harmony and abuse the Hindu faith, urging immediate arrests.

In light of recent tensions within the INDIA bloc, following Mamata Banerjee’s inclination to lead the alliance, the BJP leader commented, “The sole aim of the opposition coalition was to oppose Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the populace has dismissed them. Consequently, the INDI Coalition has collapsed. There is no longer any alliance known as the INDI alliance in the nation.”

Gourav Vallabh also took the opportunity to criticize former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP head Arvind Kejriwal regarding the alleged liquor scam, attributing the failure to implement central schemes like Ayushman Bharat to the AAP-led Delhi government.
