New Delhi, April 3 (NationPress) The Anti-Snatching Cell of the Delhi Police has successfully detained an undocumented Bangladeshi immigrant from the Mahipalpur region of the city. Following an investigation, he was transferred to the deportation unit of the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO).
The individual, 25 years old and named Sadikur Rahman, originates from the Sunamganj district in Bangladesh.
Rahman had entered India for medical treatment but overstayed his visa, residing illegally in Mahipalpur for the last three months.
The Anti-Snatching Cell is a dedicated division of the Delhi Police aimed at preventing theft incidents.
