Jaipur, July 4 (NationPress) The chief of the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) and Nagaur MP, Hanuman Beniwal, has made a strong statement against the BJP-led state administration for affixing an eviction notice to his official residence.
Beniwal contended that this action was driven by political motives aimed at damaging his reputation.
“Numerous individuals without proper entitlement are residing in government bungalows, yet no notices have been issued to them. If I were pursuing government housing, I would not have left the BJP government or declined a ministerial role,” he remarked.
Reiterating his stance, Beniwal expressed: “I have not illegally occupied the bungalow. I have consistently paid rent. Furthermore, I have not engaged in any form of electricity theft. There is a distinct difference between not paying dues and committing theft of electricity.”
The power supply to his residence in Jaipur was recently cut off due to pending bills, which he claims were disputed and partially paid.
Addressing a protest at Shaheed Smarak in Jaipur — organized to demand the annulment of the SI recruitment exam and the restructuring of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission — Beniwal asserted that the BJP government is intimidated by his growing influence.
“This government fears me. I have opposed both Ashok Gehlot and Vasundhara Raje in the past. If I hadn’t challenged Vasundhara, a new leadership within the BJP wouldn’t have emerged,” he stated. Beniwal further accused the current administration of hypocrisy.
“The BJP government has begun protecting the paper mafia just as the Congress did. They are now resorting to phone tapping to stifle dissent. However, regardless of their efforts, this government cannot silence our voices,” he emphasized.
Pointing to social media movements like #BhajanlalHatao and #RajasthanBachao, Beniwal noted the evident frustration among the youth.
“The announcement of our Delhi march has clearly unsettled the government. We are in the process of finalizing our strategy, and soon, a significant movement will be initiated from the capital,” he cautioned.
He further alleged that individuals close to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma are involved in illicit activities, such as gravel mining, showing a blatant disregard for public welfare. “The BJP has deceived its constituents. The public will no longer be misled,” Beniwal asserted.
