Bihar BJP Leader Calls Nitish Kumar a 'Vessel', Affirms Support as CM Amid Political Uncertainty

Patna, Jan 8 (NationPress) Bihar BJP President Dilip Jaiswal on Tuesday expressed his unwavering support for Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, characterizing him as a 'vessel' that will aid anyone who embarks on it to 'reach the shore'.
His comments were made in light of ongoing political speculations and discussions regarding the Chief Minister's leadership.
Addressing the media in Patna, Jaiswal stated, 'Nitish Kumar is a vessel. Anyone wishing to board can, and those wanting to disembark are free to do so. For us, whoever boards the vessel will safely cross the river.'
When questioned about suggestions linking Prashant Kishor to the BJP as a 'B-team', the State BJP President dismissed such notions, stating that such labels were insignificant.
'Some refer to A team, B team, or C team. It makes no difference. Nitish Kumar is at the helm of the government, and we are progressing under his guidance.'
Jaiswal chose not to directly address Union Home Minister Amit Shah's recent comments regarding the Bihar Chief Minister's position.
Instead, the State BJP President remarked, 'Why are you asking me about Delhi? I am the State President of Bihar BJP. Predictions are not my concern. Our leader is Nitish Kumar, and we will contest the Assembly elections under his direction.'
Jaiswal also took jabs at RJD leaders Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav without naming them, dismissing their hopes of regaining power in Bihar.
'They are fantasizing about returning to power, but that will not happen in Bihar.'
In alignment with Jaiswal's views, Bihar Food Supply Minister Leshi Singh emphasized the strength of the NDA under CM Nitish Kumar's leadership.
'The NDA is synonymous with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He does not require a validation from the Opposition. Despite the chilly weather, our Chief Minister is actively visiting districts as part of the Pragati Yatra.'
Singh further criticized opposition leaders for their remarks about Nitish Kumar, accusing them of seeking relevance via student politics.
'The comments from opposition leaders will not impact the health of the NDA. The Opposition may say whatever they wish, but it will not alter the people's support for Nitish Kumar.'
