Bihar: Combined PT Exam Scheduled for December 13

Patna, December 9 (NationPress) BPSC Chairman Ravi Manu Bhai Parmar announced on Monday that the 70th combined PT examination is set to proceed as planned on December 13.
He reiterated the commission's pledge to ensure a fair and secure examination.
To enhance security during the examination, he mentioned that the current measures were implemented after March 15.
“To fortify the examination process, all examination centres will be equipped with CCTV cameras, and signal jammers will be installed to prevent the use of unauthorized communication devices,” Parmar stated.
He addressed the rumors circulating on social media regarding the postponement of the exam, which led some candidates from different states to cancel their train tickets, risking their opportunity to participate.
“The commission is diligently working to identify those disseminating false information. Information regarding these individuals has been forwarded to the cyber police, and legal actions may ensue,” Parmar remarked.
He urged candidates to disregard rumors and rely solely on official announcements.
“Robust measures, including surveillance and secure paper handling, are established to uphold the examination's integrity. The examination will be conducted across 912 centres throughout all districts of Bihar, with approximately 4.83 lakh applicants having registered,” he added.
He noted that there will be four sets of question papers; each set includes 10 series of questions, with variations in the number of questions and answer options within the series.
“The specific set to be used will be determined on the examination day via a lottery system, which will occur 3 hours before the examination starts at the BPSC office. The question papers are being securely dispatched to the districts. On the exam day, the question paper box will be unsealed in the examination hall in the presence of candidates, ensuring transparency. A randomly selected candidate in each class will break the seal of the envelope containing the papers,” Parmar explained.
The BPSC has instituted rigorous measures to safeguard the integrity of the examination process. Candidates are encouraged to concentrate on their studies and disregard unverified information circulating on social media.
