Patna, Nov 15 (NationPress) Following the significant defeat of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Grand Alliance in the Bihar Assembly elections, senior RJD figure and former state party President Jagadanand Singh described the election outcomes as unexpected.

In a statement to the media in Patna, Singh remarked, "Numerous news outlets are asserting that the votes achieved by the candidates exceeded the actual votes cast in the state. This is surprising, yet it reflects the will of the people of Bihar."

On the evening after the results were announced, Singh engaged with RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav.

"Regardless of the results, our bond remains strong. We met with our party's esteemed leader, Lalu Prasad Yadav," stated the former State RJD President.

In a related development, Congress Lok Sabha MP from Katihar, Tariq Anwar, mentioned that the party is set to undertake a thorough examination of the electoral loss in Bihar.
