New Delhi, Nov 19 (NationPress) Bihar BJP State President Dilip Jaiswal announced that the process of forming the government will reach completion on Wednesday, as the NDA gears up for a significant day filled with internal discussions and political organization just before Nitish Kumar's swearing-in ceremony.
Jaiswal confirmed that a meeting for the BJP legislative party is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at the Atal Auditorium within the party headquarters, where all MPs, MLAs, and members of the Legislative Council have been instructed to attend.
In a statement to IANS, Jaiswal remarked on the lengthy and detailed nature of the Bihar Assembly election process, indicating that the NDA is ready to finalize its leadership and proceed with the official government establishment. He emphasized the significance of the upcoming meeting, noting that attendance from the party’s senior leadership and elected officials is mandatory.
Regarding the grand oath-taking event for the Chief Minister, set for Wednesday, Jaiswal highlighted its importance for the state.
“A notable aspect of this ceremony is that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will witness this historic occasion. Alongside him, around 200,000 to 300,000 voters from all over Bihar will also be present,” he stated, adding that the event will showcase substantial public and political backing as Nitish Kumar prepares to take the oath as Chief Minister for the tenth time.
In the meantime, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Dharamshila Gupta extended her congratulations to Nitish Kumar.
“Nitish Kumar is a respected leader of Bihar, and as he prepares to take the oath as Chief Minister for the tenth time, he deserves warm congratulations,” she remarked, calling his repeated election a testament to the faith of the people.
In response to criticism from opposition parties regarding the Bihar election outcomes, Gupta defended the situation firmly, stating, “This is the typical behavior of the opposition after losing elections: sometimes they accuse vote theft, sometimes they blame EVMs, and continue to make excuses. The opposition must realize that this is the result of their deceit towards Bihar.”
