Patna, April 7 (NationPress) Bihar Information and Technology Minister Krishna Kumar Mantu officially launched office spaces for 10 innovative IT startups and provided these facilities at no cost to aspiring entrepreneurs at Biscomaun Tower, marking a significant enhancement to the startup ecosystem in Bihar.

The office spaces, situated on the 9th and 13th floors, were presented to the enthusiastic entrepreneurs during a ceremonial key exchange.

The startups include Hiprotech India Technology Pvt. Ltd., Green Stark Electronics Pvt. Ltd., Flow APIs Pvt. Ltd., Sevacity Technology Pvt. Ltd., Skaas Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Ostomverse Innovation Pvt. Ltd., Momentum Plus Online Technology, Polytropic System Pvt. Ltd., Makasa Industries Pvt. Ltd., and HPF Venture India Pvt. Ltd..

As part of the Bihar IT Policy-2024, the state government offers numerous incentives to new entrepreneurs, including Capital Investment Subsidy, Interest Subsidy, Lease Rental Subsidy, Electricity Bill Subsidy, and Employment Generation Subsidy.

While addressing the audience, Mantu stated, “Our primary goal is to provide employment opportunities for Bihar’s youth. To realize this, we must empower and nurture startups across the state.”

Moreover, the state government is providing more than just financial aid to startups. Eligible IT startups will receive free office space for the first six months, which can be extended based on performance.

The offered office spaces are well-equipped with cabins, workspaces, air conditioning, high-speed internet connectivity, reception and security services, housekeeping, parking, cafeteria facilities, and dedicated elevator access.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to position Bihar as a growing IT hub. To date, 13 startups have already benefited from this initiative, with the addition of 10 more further propelling this momentum.

IT Secretary Abhay Kumar Singh, who attended the event alongside Special Secretary Arvind Kumar Chaudhary, underscored the government's commitment to providing long-term support.

“These nascent companies require a conducive environment to flourish, and we are dedicated to providing just that. Our review-based extension policy ensures that resources are allocated to successful ventures,” he remarked.

The event concluded with a word of gratitude from Special Secretary Arvind Kumar Chaudhary, emphasizing the government’s commitment to transforming Bihar into a startup-friendly, technology-driven economy.
