In addition to heightened security measures, the district administration is prioritizing medical provisions due to the escalating temperatures in the area.
Following the guidance of District Magistrate Arvind Kumar Verma, Civil Surgeon Dr. Harendra Kumar is spearheading a thorough health readiness initiative. This initiative includes the deployment of doctors, health personnel, and medical resources to address potential heat-related concerns.
A specialized team of over 100 expert doctors and health staff has been established to oversee 15 medical camps positioned at crucial locations, such as parking zones and event sites.
Every camp will be outfitted with ambulances, necessary medications, vaccines, and state-of-the-art medical apparatus to manage instances of dehydration and heatstroke. These camps are designed to ensure a rapid response in case of medical emergencies during the Prime Minister's event.
In a proactive approach, Sadar Hospital (Madhubani), Subdivision Hospital (Jhanjharpur), and Araria Sangram Trauma Centre have been prepared with ICU and advanced medical facilities. Furthermore, three private hospitals in Madhubani and one in Darbhanga have been instructed to remain fully operational and ready for action.
