Mumbai, April 15 (NationPress) On Wednesday, leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Maharashtra characterized the recent allegations of religious conversion at TCS Nashik and the sexual exploitation of minor girls in Amravati as part of a "conspiracy" and a "racket" within the country. They demanded severe penalties for those implicated.

This response came after the apprehension of a man named Mohammad Ayaz, who is accused of exploiting at least 180 minor girls and producing over 350 explicit videos.

Maharashtra Minister Pankaja Munde stated, “The Home Ministry will investigate this matter.”

BJP leader Kirit Somaiya remarked to IANS: “This scheme has been orchestrated by elements of Muslim fanaticism, terrorism, mafia, and individuals from Bangladesh. The Nashik incident was just the beginning, and now young girls aged 16-17 are being targeted in Amravati.”

He urged for immediate action, saying, “Girls from Nagpur, Paratwada, Amravati, and other areas have fallen victim. I have requested Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to establish a Special Investigation Team (SIT) at once.”

BJP MLA Devayani Pharande labeled the situation a “racket.”

She added, “Reports indicate that women in IT firms are facing pressure for religious conversion. In Amravati, a Muslim man reportedly ensnared around 180 girls and assaulted them. It appears there is a racket operating nationwide.”

She further noted, “The Maharashtra government is addressing this issue. Such perpetrators must face stringent penalties.”

Maharashtra Minority Commission Chairman Pyare Khan shared that he received a confidential complaint from Achalpur involving several Muslim individuals. After liaising with the area Superintendent of Police, it was discovered that evidence from eight Muslim women, including six photographs and two videos, had been recovered.

He remarked, “We are taking action. Some photos and videos have been removed. Given the sensitivity of the area, unrest may be a risk,” he added.

Khan assured that strict measures would be enforced against the offenders, stating, “Such activities are intolerable in Maharashtra.”

In a memorandum presented to Superintendent of Police (Rural) Vishal Anand, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Anil Bonde revealed that the accused systematically targeted minors via social media platforms, including WhatsApp and Snapchat.

Law enforcement acted swiftly, detaining the suspect for a seven-day police custody. His mobile phone, which was confiscated, reportedly contains multiple objectionable videos currently under investigation.
