Bengaluru, March 10 (NationPress) The Central Election Committee (CEC) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has revealed its candidates for the upcoming biennial elections to the Karnataka Legislative Council.

Senior BJP figure Shashil G. Namoshi is set to contest from the North East Teachers' Constituency, while S.V. Sankanur will represent the West Graduates' Constituency. Additionally, K.M. Suresh, a close associate of former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa, has been nominated for the South East Graduates' Constituency.

The announcement came via an official communiqué from Arun Singh, the BJP's National General Secretary and in-charge at the Headquarters.

K.M. Suresh, hailing from Davanagere, is identified as the BJP candidate for the South East Graduates' Constituency.

He is notably a close confidant of former CM Yediyurappa and previously served as the Chairman of the Harihar Urban Development Authority.
