Bhopal, Dec 20 (NationPress) BJP National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP, Arun Singh, declared on Saturday that the concept of 'Viksit Bharat', initially proposed by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, is now being actively realized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking at a press conference held at the BJP headquarters in Bhopal, the seasoned BJP leader Arun Singh emphasized that the 'Pradhan Mantri Grameen Sadak Yojana', launched during Vajpayee's administration, has significantly transformed rural India.
“During the tenure of ex-PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee, numerous initiatives were introduced that continue to serve the populace today. We currently witness the enhancement of these schemes in alignment with the Prime Minister’s vision,” Singh remarked.
Pointing out various other initiatives initiated under Vajpayee, the BJP official noted that programs such as the Prime Minister’s Rural Service Scheme, village-level services, and various development projects were all launched under his guidance.
“Atal Bihari Vajpayee envisioned these initiatives, and the current leadership is expediting their execution, guaranteeing continuity, efficacy, and tangible development outcomes,” Singh further stated.
During his visit to Bhopal, Arun Singh assessed the state BJP's arrangements for celebrating Vajpayee's birth anniversary on December 25.
To commemorate this occasion, the BJP-led Madhya Pradesh government is poised to lay the groundwork for new industries valued at over Rs 21 lakh crore.
