Kolkata, Nov 9 (NationPress) The BJP strongly criticized the Trinamool Congress for its alleged corruption following the recovery of a significant sum of cash and luxury vehicles from a party functionary's residence during raids conducted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
Amit Malviya, the head of the BJP's IT cell and the party's central observer for West Bengal, stated in an X post, "Another 'illustrious' face of Trinamool has been unveiled! Ajmal Siddiqui, the State Secretary of the Trinamool Minority Cell, has been apprehended by the Enforcement Directorate for managing an extensive sex racket and accumulating crores through corruption. From his residence, the ED seized bundles of cash and two luxury cars - the fruits of his criminal empire built on women trafficking and illegal liquor trade."
This response from the BJP leader followed the seizure of over Rs 1.01 crore in cash and two luxury cars in West Bengal last Friday, after the ED carried out simultaneous raids as part of a money laundering investigation linked to an alleged organized human trafficking and prostitution operation in various bars and restaurants.

"A four-year-old girl's life has been shattered in Tarkeshwar, West Bengal. Her family hurried to the police station, desperate for justice, but the Tarkeshwar Police REFUSED to file an FIR. The child was taken to a hospital, only to be referred to Chandannagar, while law enforcement seems occupied with concealing the crime to protect the state's fabricated 'law and order' image. This epitomizes the dismal reality of Mamata Banerjee's regime," Malviya stated in a post.
