Patna, Jan 16 (NationPress) Following the request from Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) leader Jitan Ram Manjhi for 20 seats in the upcoming Assembly elections, BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal has firmly stated that the seat-sharing agreement within the coalition has been conclusively established.

On Wednesday, Manjhi asserted his claim for 20 Assembly seats for HAM, reflecting his party's aspirations within the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

While addressing supporters in Jehanabad on Wednesday, Manjhi remarked: “The party workers are urging us to contest as many seats as possible, but securing even 20 seats would satisfy them.”

However, BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal countered Manjhi’s request, emphasizing that the coalition’s seat-sharing strategy has been finalized.

“There is no confusion whatsoever in the alliance. All seats have been allocated, and the formula is set. There is no need for concern,” Jaiswal stated.

During a recent NDA worker conference at Gandhi Maidan in East Champaran on Thursday, Jaiswal refuted claims of discontent or disagreements within the alliance.

Responding to Manjhi's demand, he added: “There is no discontent among the NDA member parties. Incorrect information is being spread in the media. The NDA is robust, and the appropriate decisions will be announced at the right moment.”

Jaiswal reiterated that the seat-sharing formula is final and that no alterations would occur, highlighting the stability and solidarity of the NDA.

The NDA is currently conducting worker conferences for all its member parties across each district in Bihar, with a focus on preparations for the 2025 assembly elections.

These conferences aim to bolster the grassroots framework of the alliance and energize party workers.
