Jaipur, Aug 7 (NationPress) In a robust response to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s press conference in Delhi, where he claimed significant voter list tampering and electoral misconduct in Maharashtra, Rajasthan BJP MLA Balmukund Acharya has accused the Congress party of utilizing deception and fraudulent votes to maintain its grip on power.
Speaking to IANS, Acharya stated, “The Congress has an extensive background of misleading the public and skewing elections through fraudulent voting. However, that tactic is no longer effective. The populace is now more informed.”
He asserted that Congress engages in conspiracy-laden politics and blames the electoral framework whenever it encounters setbacks. “In instances of defeat, they question the voting process or the machines. Rahul Gandhi and his party lack faith in the Indian populace - instead, they seek to sow distrust among them,” he added.
Labeling Congress as a “Mummy-Beta-Jija party,” Acharya characterized it as a dynastic political organization that has been revealed to an increasingly astute electorate.
“Following each loss, they blame EVMs or cast doubt on the legitimacy of the voter list. They themselves seem confused about their objectives. They are attuned to public sentiment, yet they persist in making misleading statements,” he remarked.
The BJP legislator accused Rahul Gandhi of trying to mislead the citizens of India and asserted that such rhetoric has lost its relevance.
“India is advancing and progressing. The era of obtaining power through manipulation and fraudulent votes is over. The public is perceptive enough to recognize these tactics,” he concluded.
Emphasizing the BJP’s dedication to transparency and equitable governance, Acharya reaffirmed that the populace now places its confidence in robust leadership and development-centric policies.
“The people have made their decision - they favor stability and progress, not unfounded allegations and political drama,” he concluded.
