Patna, Nov 12 (NationPress) Following the release of several exit polls indicating a clear triumph for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the Bihar Assembly elections, the BJP expressed its heartfelt thanks to the citizens of Bihar for granting them a renewed chance to serve.

Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister, Vijay Kumar Sinha, remarked, “I extend my gratitude to the people of Bihar for once again placing their trust in the NDA government under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. The citizens have reaffirmed their belief in our progress-driven governance. The NDA is poised to achieve a significant majority and will persist in its efforts to transform Bihar into a developed state.”

BJP state President, Dilip Jaiswal, commented, “During this phase of the Bihar Assembly elections, voter participation reached an astonishing 70-75 percent, with some regions exceeding 80 percent. This marks the first instance in our nation's history where, after two decades of governance, the public has demonstrated such confidence in the NDA government led by PM Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar. The mandate clearly signifies the people's faith in PM Modi’s leadership and Nitish Kumar’s developmental initiatives.”

Uttar Pradesh Minister, Narendra Kashyap, who actively campaigned in Bihar, praised the NDA's performance, stating, “The exit polls have confirmed that the NDA will once again establish the government. From PM Modi to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the entire BJP team worked diligently throughout the campaign. The people of Bihar have rallied behind the double-engine government, and I am optimistic that the NDA will return to power with a robust mandate.”

BJP National Spokesperson, Guru Prakash Paswan, expressed his hope, saying, “Our target has been to secure more than 160 seats. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has guided us throughout the campaign, and we are confident of substantial backing, particularly from female voters. On November 14, the results will showcase the dedication of the people of Bihar and their aspirations. If the Opposition had exerted as much effort during the campaign, they might have anticipated better results — but leaders like Rahul Gandhi were preoccupied elsewhere. We are unfazed by their skepticism; the people's verdict will resonate.”

Union Minister of State, Nityanand Rai, added, “Deep down, the Opposition acknowledges the truth but is reluctant to admit it. It's merely a matter of a day or two before they come to terms with reality. The public has already made its choice, and they recognize that their defeat is inevitable.”

Conversely, the Opposition dismissed the exit poll forecasts.

RJD national spokesperson, Mrityunjay Tiwari, stated, “Exit polls have proven erroneous on numerous occasions. We reject these projections. The actual results will be revealed on November 14, and the public has cast their votes in favor of Tejashwi Yadav. The Mahagathbandhan will undoubtedly emerge victorious.”

Meanwhile, the Bihar Assembly elections of 2025, which witnessed high voter turnout in both phases on November 6 and 11, are anticipated to yield a remarkable victory for the BJP-led NDA and a setback for the RJD and Congress-led Mahagathbandhan in this crucial electoral contest, as per most exit polls on Tuesday.

A myriad of pollsters have shared their forecasts for this high-stakes contest in Bihar, predicting a comfortable win for the BJP-led NDA, with expectations of crossing the halfway mark of 122 seats with ease, while the Mahagathbandhan appears to be struggling to exceed the 100-seat threshold.

The exit polls also forecast a setback for the Prashant Kishor-led Jan Suraaj, which presented itself as the ‘third alternative’ in the state.

Seven polling agencies indicate that the BJP-led NDA is likely to return to power with a clear majority, with three projecting seats above the 160-mark. For the Mahagathbandhan, most anticipate it will be limited to double digits, while some forecast a higher count around 100 seats.

Other parties, including Owaisi-led AIMIM, Kishor-led Jan Suraaj, and Independents, are unlikely to make a significant impact as they remain on the fringes in the exit polls, collectively expected to secure 2-8 seats in the 243-member Assembly.

According to Chankya Strategies, the NDA is projected to win 130-138 seats, while the Mahagathbandhan could secure a respectable 100-108 seats, with others predicted to claim 3-5 seats. Jan Suraaj is anticipated to score no seats based on these findings.

Dainik Bhaskar offers a more conservative prediction for the Mahagathbandhan, estimating 73-91 seats, while the NDA is projected to win 145-160 seats, with others potentially claiming 5-7 seats.

According to Polstrat, the NDA is expected to lead with 133-148 seats and a vote share of 44.71 percent, while the Mahagathbandhan alliance is estimated to secure 87-102 seats with a 40.34 percent vote share.

As per DV Research, the NDA is projected to acquire 137-152 seats, with the Mahagathbandhan potentially winning 83-98 seats, while others could secure 1-8 seats.

The exit polls from JVC and People’s Insight reveal similar forecasts for both significant players — NDA and Mahagathbandhan. The JVC estimates 135-150 seats for NDA and 88-103 for Mahagathbandhan, while People’s Insight anticipates 133-148 seats for NDA and 87-102 seats for Mahagathbandhan. Both analyses regard other parties, including Jan Suraaj, as non-players, predicting 3-6 seats for them.

According to IANS-Matrize Exit Polls, the NDA is expected to secure 147-167 seats, whereas the Mahagathbandhan’s seat share is projected to be confined to just 70-90.
