Starting with the claim, “The Congress ecosystem is utterly compromised!”, Bhandari establishes the premise in his X post, suggesting that the matter transcends mere isolated events and indicates a wider institutional alignment.

He cites the investigation from the US, which he claims reveals Shanghai-associated businessman Neville Roy Singham channeling “$600 MILLION through concealed financial networks and 2,000 nonprofit organizations to undermine democracy,” also alleging ties to entities associated with the Communist Party of China.

Bhandari reflects on the domestic scenario, stating, “Remember when Indian authorities uncovered alleged foreign funding connections involving Neville Roy Singham and NewsClick—laying bare their aim to destabilize India's democracy? Congress quickly labeled it an 'attack on freedom of expression,' defending the network from 2021 raids through to actions in 2023.”

Indeed, Bhandari draws a link between Congress’s prior support of media platforms and the allegations now surfacing from the Fox News report. What was framed as a defense of press freedom might, in his perspective, have inadvertently aligned with ‘questionable’ funding sources.

Bhandari asserts, “It’s becoming increasingly evident: Congress is compromised; it is part of a global nexus that funds organizations to destabilize democracy!” He reinforces this assertion by referring to Rahul Gandhi’s previous comment about wanting to challenge the Indian state.

He elaborates on what he refers to as a “Pattern of Operation of Congress,” claiming that the party supports individuals like Singham, facilitates funding through international channels, amplifies divisive narratives via protests and information campaigns, and seeks political advantages from the ensuing chaos.
