Ahmedabad, Aug 29 (NationPress) Senior BJP leader Rohan Gupta delivered a sharp critique aimed at Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav and the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi.
Gupta expressed that Tejashwi Yadav must be feeling let down after Rahul Gandhi was questioned about accepting Tejashwi as the Chief Minister of Bihar. According to Gupta, Rahul Gandhi's ambiguous reply suggests a “game” is being played, leaving Tejashwi as a mere pawn.
He further criticized Rahul Gandhi for promoting his party's agenda in Bihar by inviting leaders such as Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who Gupta alleges has insulted Bihar in the past. “The people of Bihar are observing everything and will respond appropriately at the right moment,” he stated.
Labeling the Congress model in Karnataka as a failure, Gupta pointed out that the situation in the state is clear to all. “The Congress has not fulfilled its promises. The party is devoid of both policy and intent, and the rifts among its allies are evident. The people of Bihar will not forgive such individuals,” he proclaimed.
Commenting on the severe floods in Pakistan, Gupta noted that Pakistan tends to blame India for its own shortcomings. He indicated that while India has been proactive in issuing warnings, Pakistan has been negligent in its preparations.
He described Pakistan as a “failed state” with a “dead economy,” where the citizens are suffering due to governmental and military failures. “A nation whose foreign policy relies on terrorism cannot be expected to safeguard its own populace,” he remarked.
Without directly mentioning Rahul Gandhi, Gupta remarked that certain Indian leaders should learn from Pakistan’s plight and grasp the reality of a “dead economy.”
On the subject of India's economic advancements, Gupta commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strategies, highlighting that despite global economic challenges, India’s GDP is rapidly growing—an affirmation of the government’s effective policies.
Emphasizing the strength of India-Japan relations, Gupta noted Japan's consistent investment in India, particularly in initiatives like the bullet train project. He stated that India is evolving into a self-reliant economy grounded in indigenous principles and is accelerating towards achieving the vision of a “Developed India.”
