The fatal occurrence happened around 12:30 p.m. within the area overseen by the Goverdhan Vilas police station. The victim, identified as Maharth Raj Singh, was an 8-year-old Class 3 student, who suffered critical head injuries after the goalpost toppled while he was playing.
As reported by the police, Maharth was playing with other children when the goalpost unexpectedly fell. He lost his balance, and the pole struck his head directly.
