Hyderabad, May 28 (NationPress) Telangana's Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has claimed that the opposition party Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is orchestrating a political conspiracy to obstruct his administration's initiatives aimed at generating employment for the jobless youth.
He pointed out that the former BRS administration failed to conduct Group 1 exams and is now impeding progress by initiating legal cases.
During the Gurukula awards event in Hyderabad on Wednesday, he urged the youth to challenge BRS representatives when they visit and unveil their political schemes.
Revanth Reddy asserted that the current 'people's government' has successfully filled 59,000 vacancies in various government departments within a single year. He highlighted that his administration has set a record for delivering the highest number of jobs in its inaugural year, having also conducted Group 1 exams and published the results.
The Chief Minister criticized the prior BRS government for launching schemes for goat, sheep, and fish distribution for underprivileged communities while ignoring their educational needs. "Why didn’t the BRS take action to involve weaker sections as stakeholders in governance through education? Isn’t it true they neglected the unemployed for a decade without issuing job notifications?" he questioned.
CM Revanth Reddy encouraged Dalits, tribals, and marginalized communities to overcome their feelings of inferiority. He announced that the government is establishing Young India Integrated Residential Schools to instill confidence in the underprivileged and help them excel academically.
The CM stressed that students should dedicate themselves until the age of 25 to secure prosperous futures through quality jobs. He cautioned the youth against distractions, warning that such diversions could pose significant challenges for their families. "Avoid such scenarios. Youth must thrive with confidence, making both your parents and the state proud," he urged.
The CM noted that his government appointed the first Dalit Vice Chancellor in Osmania University's 100-year history. Additionally, Aakunuri Murali was designated as the Chairman of the Education Commission, and Gaddam Prasad Kumar became the Assembly Speaker. All received recognition based on their educational achievements, not their caste. The future of the nation resides in educational institutions, he emphasized.
The Chief Minister also paid tribute to the contributions of renowned Telangana leader Suravaram Pratap Reddy. To honor his legacy, the government has named the Telugu University after him. The well-known Women University has been named after Veeranari Chakali Ilamma. He remarked that only those who labor for the people will be remembered in history.
He added that the Congress party is upholding the legacy of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and the architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.
