Amaravati, Oct 13 (NationPress) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday, extending an invitation for the ‘Super GST-Super Savings’ event in Kurnool district as well as the CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam.
Following their discussion, the Chief Minister shared on ‘X’ that he congratulated the Prime Minister on completing 25 years of service as a head of government on behalf of the people of Andhra Pradesh.
He commended Modi’s leadership in implementing transformative and people-focused Next Gen GST reforms.
“The upcoming ‘Super GST – Super Savings’ event in Kurnool is set to celebrate public enthusiasm for this forward-thinking initiative. I took the opportunity to invite him to honor us with his presence. Furthermore, I also requested the Hon’ble Prime Minister to preside over the CII Partnership Summit 2025, which will take place in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15,” Naidu posted.
Union Ministers Ram Mohan Naidu and Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, along with TDP MP Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu, joined the Chief Minister during the meeting.
The ‘Super GST – Super Savings’ program in Kurnool on October 16 aims to showcase the initiatives of both the union and state governments in encouraging financial prudence and efficiency through the latest next-gen GST reforms.
Naidu also invited Modi to the CII Partnership Summit 2025 in Visakhapatnam, which is anticipated to gather industry leaders, investors, and policymakers from around the world to explore collaborative and investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh.
Additionally, the Chief Minister is set to attend a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between the Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Department and Google in New Delhi on Tuesday.
This MoU paves the way for Asia’s first Google Data Centre in Visakhapatnam, marking a significant leap in the digital transformation journey of the state, as per an official statement.
Google plans to develop a 1 gigawatt hyperscale data centre campus in Visakhapatnam, part of a near $10 billion investment that will anchor the initiative “AI City Vizag.” This project represents one of the largest for Google in Asia and will enable the deployment of its complete AI stack to accelerate AI-driven transformation across India.
According to the official statement, the new AI hub will amalgamate powerful AI infrastructure, data centre capacity, new large-scale energy sources, and an expanded fibre-optic network, positioning Vizag and Andhra Pradesh as leaders in driving India’s AI transformation.
