Chandrababu Naidu Recognizes PM Modi as an International Leader

Visakhapatnam, Jan 8 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, calling him a global leader who is celebrated worldwide.
At a public event where the Prime Minister inaugurated development projects worth Rs 2 lakh crore in Andhra Pradesh, Naidu showered accolades on him while the Prime Minister maintained a cheerful demeanor.
The president of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) noted that he consistently draws inspiration from PM Modi. The Prime Minister responded by saying that Naidu hit all the right notes in his speech. “He stands exceptionally tall among global leaders,” he added.
“He has transcended being merely an Indian leader; he is now recognized as a global leader. His leadership has significantly promoted India,” said Naidu, eliciting loud cheers from the audience. He expressed admiration for the Prime Minister's unwavering commitment.
“Under your leadership, India is poised for prosperity. We take immense pride in you, Sir. The Prime Minister has connected with the people through continuous development initiatives,” Naidu stated. He emphasized that the affection for Modi is widespread, not limited to the North as some leaders claim.
“In the recent elections, our alliance (TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP) achieved a remarkable outcome. We secured a strike rate of 93 percent and garnered 57 percent of the votes, winning 164 Assembly and 21 MP seats,” the Chief Minister highlighted.
Chandrababu Naidu confirmed that this alliance would persist into the future, attributing the NDA's victories in Haryana and Maharashtra to PM Modi's charisma.
He asserted that the populace consistently supports PM Modi, acknowledging his efforts for national welfare and progress through slogans of development, reform, and good governance.
Referring to various welfare initiatives launched by the Central Government, such as PM Kisan Nidhi, Make-in-India, Skill India, and Digital India, Naidu expressed optimism that with PM Modi at the helm, India could emerge as the top global economy.
He recalled that after the bifurcation of the state, he requested the merger of seven mandals with Andhra Pradesh, which PM Modi facilitated by approving significant institutions such as IIT, IIM, NIT, AIIMS, Tribal University, and Central University.
He assured the attendees that the NDA Government is committed to fulfilling the Super-Six promises despite various challenges.
Naidu expressed confidence that a robust NDA will strengthen Andhra Pradesh, stating that if both the Centre and the state work in harmony, double-digit growth is achievable.
“On behalf of the NDA, I assure you that we prioritize the creation of a poverty-free society. Today marks the beginning of that journey. From now on, our state will witness victories, not failures,” he remarked.
Praising PM Modi's decisions, Naidu shared an anecdote about a proposal from Google to establish operations in Visakhapatnam. He recalled meeting the Prime Minister, who reassured him regarding taxation policies, stating, “If you alter these policies, no one will invest in India. I support you... proceed without fear of tax changes. How many Prime Ministers would act in this manner? If all had done the same, India would have attracted far more investment,” Naidu reflected.
The Chief Minister invited the Prime Minister to visit Amaravati, expressing his satisfaction with its progress. “Until recently, Amaravati faced uncertainty. Now, Sir, we hope you will visit to witness the strides made where you laid the foundation. With your support, we are nearing completion of this city, which you envisioned as one of the finest,” he concluded.
