Amaravati, May 4 (NationPress) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized on Sunday the necessity for the state to adopt the Gujarat model.

During a teleconference with all party MPs, MLAs, and committee members, Chandrababu Naidu commended the hard work of party leaders and activists in successfully organizing the program for the re-launch of the Amaravati state capital.
He asserted that the re-launch of capital development has drawn both national and international attention to Amaravati.
The Chief Minister maintained that the commencement of these works, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, sends a powerful message about the significance of Amaravati and aims to restore the capital's former prestige.
He expressed optimism that the construction of Amaravati will proceed swiftly without obstacles, dubbing it the emblem of the self-respect of the state's five crore residents, which will evolve into a global city offering employment and vast opportunities for the youth.
Chandrababu Naidu mentioned that he is prioritizing both the party and the government, noting that the visible changes achieved in just one year have boosted public confidence.
He claimed that, as per promises made during the elections, the state is back on course. 'After successfully securing funds for Polavaram, we aim to complete the project by 2047. We have also revitalized the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, which was nearing closure, and procured ₹11,400 crore for its development,' he stated.
He highlighted that the Railway Zone, a dream for the people of North Andhra, has become a reality. Substantial funds are being directed to the state, in addition to attracting major units like BPCL, ArcelorMittal, and Green Energy plants in Rayalaseema, along with industrial parks in Orvakallu and Koparthy.
Chandrababu Naidu pointed out that pensions are being disbursed on the first of each month, and the DSC notification has been released to fill 16,347 vacant teaching positions. Under the Deepam-2 scheme, free cooking gas cylinders are provided to over one crore beneficiaries, while ₹20,000 has been allocated to each fisherman family under the Matchyakarula Sevalo scheme.
The Chief Minister reiterated that the Annadata scheme will be launched this month, with ₹15,000 allocated for each child under the Talliki Vandanam scheme, well before schools reopen. 'In addition to fulfilling the Super-6 promises, we are addressing both financial and non-financial challenges,' he added.
He instructed party leaders to finalize all party panels, excluding the state committee, by May 18 and announced that the party's annual gathering, Mahanadu, will take place in Kadapa on May 27, 28, and 29. The state committee will be established following Mahanadu.
