Amaravati, April 27 (NationPress) - The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, expressed optimism that the upcoming re-launch of the Amaravati capital project by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 2 will signify a pivotal moment in the state’s history.
The Chief Minister convened a meeting at his residence with Cabinet members and senior officials to discuss the program arranged for the re-launch of Amaravati's development.
Naidu pointed out that the previous administration implemented various conspiracies aimed at undermining Amaravati, yet, despite these obstacles, the city has remained resilient.
He emphasized that Amaravati is a manifestation of the aspirations of individuals from diverse backgrounds and regions. Within ten months of the TDP-led NDA assuming power, the state government has addressed numerous challenges arising from the former government's inadequate policies and has resumed multiple halted projects, Naidu stated.
He reiterated that the capital, for which the foundation stone was laid by the Prime Minister, experienced destruction, and it is now being revitalized by the same leader.
Pointing out that Amaravati embodies the self-worth, emotions, and ambitions of the Andhra Pradesh populace, the Chief Minister asserted that no force on earth can compromise this vision. He expressed his belief that Amaravati has the potential to evolve into a hub for revenue generation and a source of job opportunities for all.
Naidu clarified that the re-launching of Amaravati's projects is happening under the aegis of the Prime Minister to convey a powerful message nationwide that no one can extinguish the aspirations of the people of Andhra Pradesh through conspiracies.
The Chief Minister urged ministers and officials to ensure that the program is executed impressively, declaring that the construction of Amaravati should be completed in a manner that every citizen can proudly proclaim, “my Andhra Pradesh, my capital city of Amaravati”.
He noted that the Prime Minister is also keen on the development of Amaravati and had provided several suggestions during a recent meeting in New Delhi. Officials presented arrangements for the forthcoming May 2 event.
Naidu instructed the officials to ensure that no inconvenience is caused to the attendees traveling from various regions of the state and to prevent traffic congestion. He also emphasized the need for providing drinking water and food due to the intense heat for those traveling from distant locations.
