Amaravati/New Delhi, April 25 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, had a significant meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Friday, where he extended an invitation for the re-initiation of developmental activities for the state capital, Amaravati.

Naidu expressed that, on behalf of the people of Andhra Pradesh, he warmly welcomed the Prime Minister.

"Amaravati is set to restart. The construction of our Praja Rajadhani is about to resume, bringing renewed hope and marking a historic milestone in our state's path towards a prosperous future," Naidu shared on X.

The Chief Minister, also the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), invited Modi to "be part of the celebrations in Amaravati to mark this special occasion and to inaugurate a new era of development."

"The Hon'ble PM also provided us with his visionary insights for our capital city, which we are eager to implement to create a world-class capital. During our discussion, I updated him on the key developmental projects in Andhra Pradesh and expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from the Union Government," added Naidu, whose party plays a crucial role in the BJP-led NDA government at the Center.

Earlier, Naidu had also mentioned that he expressed solidarity with the Union Government in the fight against terrorism during the meeting. "The tragic terrorist attack in Pahalgam has left the nation in grief. We cannot express enough condemnation for such cowardly acts of violence," he stated.

"The Government and the people of Andhra Pradesh stand united with the families of the victims. We pledge our full support to PM Modi Ji’s decisive leadership in protecting India’s security," he affirmed.

Accompanying the Chief Minister were Civil Aviation Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu, Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications Dr. Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani, and TDP Parliamentary Party leader Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu.

Pemmasani confirmed that they also expressed their solidarity with the Center in the battle against terrorism. "We condemn the heinous attack on innocent civilians in Pahalgam and reiterate our steadfast support for the Government of India in maintaining the nation's integrity and safety under the capable leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, along with efforts to combat the threat of terrorism," he tweeted.
