New Delhi, June 22 (NationPress) BJP leader Amit Malviya has launched a sharp critique of the Congress party, labeling it a ‘factory of fake news’ that has disseminated ‘seven false narratives within a mere 15 days’ to sustain its ‘circus of deception’.
Malviya, who oversees the BJP's National Information and Technology Department, released a video that highlighted seven ‘false news’ claims made by various Congress leaders and organizations, describing it as a ‘coordinated smear campaign by Congress’.
In a post on the social media platform X, Malviya remarked: “Seven false narratives in just 15 days — @INCIndia is indeed living up to its reputation as the #FakeNews factory!”
“From altered videos to falsified documents, deceit has become their sole tactic. When the truth is against you, fiction serves as a refuge. India deserves a genuine opposition, not this circus of deception,” Malviya emphasized.
The video shared by Malviya prominently features an image of Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, with the caption ‘seven false narratives in just 15 days’.
“Defame India, undermine PM Modi, distract the public… seven lies, all orchestrated, all amplified, all untrue. This is not random. It’s a coordinated smear campaign by Congress,” the video stated, showcasing Gandhi's image prominently.
The seven ‘false news’ items referenced in Malviya’s video included topics such as the G7 invitation to PM Modi and the official photo session at the Summit, the White House summary of President Donald Trump’s conversation with PM Modi, travel restrictions imposed on Indians by Saudi Arabia, the Russia-Pakistan relationship, the invitation to Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir for a US Military Parade, and the evacuation of Indian citizens from Tehran.
Earlier on that same day, Malviya celebrated the party's remarkable achievement of enrolling 14 crore primary members.
Sharing a picture of the party’s election symbol, ‘Lotus’, alongside party flags, Malviya paid tribute to the tireless efforts of every karyakarta in establishing the world’s largest political party.
“A remarkable achievement!” Malviya stated in a message on X.
He added, “The primary membership of @BJP4India has now surpassed the 14 crore milestone — a true indication of the organization’s strength and the relentless dedication of every karyakarta.”
“This embodies the spirit of #SanghatanParv2024 — cultivating the world’s largest political movement, one booth at a time,” Malviya concluded.
