New Delhi, May 17 (NationPress) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta officially launched a new water pipeline project in the Pitampura region on Saturday, marking a significant step in her ongoing initiative to enhance vital infrastructure within the Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency.
This project involves the installation of a new pipeline extending from the Delhi Jal Board office located in Singalpur to the CA Block's Shiv Murti Chowk, aiming to bolster the water supply and address persistent challenges faced by local residents.
During the inauguration, CM Gupta highlighted the issues stemming from the outdated water pipeline network.
“Residents have been struggling with ongoing problems due to the old pipeline system. The supply has been inconsistent and insufficient,” she stated.
“With this new pipeline in place, we are set to resolve these issues. Our government is devoted to completing the promises that the previous administration left unfulfilled,” she declared.
Emphasizing her connection to the constituency and commitment to governance, CM Gupta remarked, “I secured the highest vote count in Delhi from this area. I have immense faith in this government and in my role as a legislator. My duty goes beyond merely developing Delhi; I stand with my constituents. As Chief Minister, I am prepared to work tirelessly for this state. Our team, including MLAs and ministers, is dedicated and works collaboratively with full commitment.”
Additionally, the Chief Minister addressed national issues, conveying a strong message about unity and national security.
“As Prime Minister Modi correctly stated, 'blood and water cannot flow together.' The nation is united in this belief; 1.4 billion Indians support PM Modi and our courageous armed forces,” she added.
CM Gupta also visited the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Mangolpuri to evaluate public health services. She was warmly welcomed by hospital staff and accompanied by BJP MP Chandolia. During her visit, she engaged with patients and inspected various hospital departments to assess the facilities and ongoing medical services.
CM Gupta reaffirmed her commitment to comprehensive development, ensuring that fundamental needs, such as clean water and accessible healthcare, remain top priorities for her administration.
